Owned and operated by Neil Mydske and Lei Wiley-Mydske, Stanwood Tattoo Company opened in beautiful Stanwood, Washington in March 2020.
We were delighted to be joined by Gary "Loco" van de Wouw shortly before the grand opening, and just 16 days before being temporarily shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The shop re-opened in June of 2020 and has been going strong since!
In 2021 we welcomed Bright Bone Ink as our first apprentice and current junior artist at the shop.
The shop suffered a devastating loss in June of 2023 when we lost our beloved friend, senior artist, and business partner, Gary van de Wouw. We continue to honor Gary’s life and legacy at the shop.
In September of 2023, Mark Skin joined us as a senior artist, with over a decade of experience tattooing.
